Apple Pie On The Rocks

I can’t tell you how easy this Fall cocktail recipe is, and I can’t tell you many people will “WOW” you for it. Now, this recipe mixes two different types of liquors, whiskey AND vodka, so take it easy on your liver.
And for those of you who aren’t a bartender like me, an “ounce (oz)” is just one shot, so you mustn’t go crazy.


1 oz Fireball

1 oz Vanilla Vodka

3 oz Apple Cider

Brown Sugar 




Add 1 oz of Fireball (one shot), 1 oz of vanilla vodka, and 3 ounces of Apple Cider. I used Organic Spiced Apple Cider from Trader Joe’s but you can surely use any kind, that would especially be good if it was home-made.

In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon until it tastes as good as that cinnamon toast you made in the morning when you were 5. This will be used in the cocktail as a sweetener but mainly to rim the glasses with.

Shake the fireball / vodka / cider mix and add a pinch of the cinnamon-sugar. Dip the top of the glass into a bowl of  the cider, and then dip it right into the cinnamon-sugar mix. Add the cocktail over ice and enjoy. You may add apples or cinnamon sticks for garnish if you please.

This recipe will make 2 cocktails. If you want more, just always use equal parts of Fireball + Vanilla Vodka, then double the amount of Cider in ratio to that.

Hint Hint: This drink would ALSO be great if it used hot cider.
