Going to New Hope, PA in the Fall is now my new tradition. The local businesses are getting ready to sell their goods for the holidays, and the quaint town is bursting with color from the seasons changing, making it an excellent place for photo-ops.
Perfect weather for layering sweaters over button-downs, and perfect weather to enjoy a beer while people-watching the crazy people of Pennsylvania (because God knows there are too many).
I cannot forget to mention this adorable restaurant we went to: Karla’s Restaurant and Bar. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around New Hope, but this one caught our eye because of their twist on your basic plates. The other restaurants seemed TOO basic for me, even ones that were recommended to me. This garlic bread was stuffed with gorgonzola and spread with a pesto sauce and pistachio. And the macaroni and cheese (I have to try macaroni & cheese everywhere I see fits), was panko crusted and super creamy throughout. I was also turned on by the garden-atmosphere the restaurant had. Highly recommend this place if you ever get the chance to visit New Hope.
