Three-Ingredient Homemade Dog Treats

Last night was my precious Zoey dog’s 11th birthday, so naturally I had to spoil her more than I already do. Meanwhile the dog is like, ‘Mom what the f#$k is up with you today, what did I do?’

I decided to make these homemade, three-ingredient dog treats. With peanut butter, oats, and 1 banana, you can make healthy treats for your pups that are safe for them to eat (and you too if you feel like it).

1 cup of uncooked oatmeal

1 whole banana

1/2 cup peanut butter (or 3-4 big tablespoons)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Take the oatmeal and put it in a blender or any food processor to grind them until the oatmeal is mainly powder.

In a separate bowl mash the banana and the peanut butter together as best you can, then add the oats. Mix + mash these together until it is a very sticky dough.

Roll your dough to about 1/4 inch thickness and place on un-greased cookie tray.

Before I put them into the oven I actually flattened out the dough so that they would cook thoroughly within.

Put tray in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the edges start to brown.

Cool completely before feeding them to your pups!

I promise, your dogs will go crazy. Cheers!

Also, for your leisure, I added a picture of my dog on her birthday, happy as a clam.
