Easy Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita

Hope everyone’s Cinco de Mayo was filled with lots of margaritas + tacos! Mine definitely was. But drinking a margarita and eating tacos on Cinco De Mayo isn’t different than any other day for me.

Now we are gearing up for Memorial Day that’s coming up. To me, Memorial Day is a dreaded day at the bars, yet a fabulous day to grill up a BBQ with some home-beverages.

Today I’m sharing number 3 of 6 tequila drinks in my series with Olmeca Altos to welcome the warm weather, and this time I made this cocktail SUPER easy!

This quick pineapple-jalapeno margarita is a simple and tasty margarita for your Memorial Day BBQ’s to share with friends.

Cheers to the unofficial start to Summer, right?

For this cocktail, you can use either silver or gold tequila. I used Silver, Olmeca Altos’ Plata Tequila: Altos Tequila Plata is is made from 100% Agave, grown in the Los Altos highlands of Mexico. This silver tequila is slightly citric and sweet with a fruity aroma, which makes it perfect for this kind of sweet + spicy beverage!

INGREDIENTS

2 parts Olmeca Altos Tequila (Reposado or PlataGold or Silver, you can use either)

1/2 of a pineapple cut up OR 1 can of pineapple chunks

1 slice of a jalapeno

Ice

DIRECTIONS

Throw everything in the blender! That easy 🙂
